We have secured a babysitter, let the date nights commence! We found a 16 year old and the kids absolutely adore him. Every day Quinn asks if that big boy can come over to play, and last Thursday all of Quinn's four year old dreams came true when that big boy came to watch the kids for the evening.
Kevin and I headed out for a night on the town, and decided to shake things up a bit and go see a movie. Since neither one of us could remember the last time we went out to a movie, we though it was about time.. and this movie night did not disappoint. We saw Everest in 3D and two days later I am still anxious about it. It was such an emotional experience. It's a Titanic type situation, you know things are going to get real bad, but you just don't know when. So you bite your nails and grow a stomach ulcer for the first half of the film and just cringe and wish it was over for the last half.
We were looking to shake up date night and Everest did the trick, although maybe next time we'll go for a romantic comedy!
