Around Here Lately

So much has been going on recently! Here's what''s been happening in our neck of the woods....

Kevin traveled back to the US for work and extended his trip a bit to stay with his brother and meet our new niece. Lucky dog!

While he was gone Sienna, our Vermont friend/neighbor/babysitter/and all around awesome teenager came to stay with us for a week. We showed her all our favorite parks and castles and we all miss her terribly now that she's gone!

 We also taught her how to properly drink out of a Swiss fountain, you can thank me later for that invaluable life skill Sienna. You will never be dehydrated again.

Quinn's school had a Spring art show where all the students showcased their works. He made a beautiful pink bug out of tape and paint. While showing it to me, he made sure I knew that he did NOT put googley eyes on it, nor did he want googley eyes on it... ah Swiss conformity... the young artist is obviously pretty anguished about it.

 Anna and her pink "kitty" clip have been inseparable now for months. We've nearly lost it a few times, and I'm not sure I can cope if she actually does lose it, so for now the kitty clip may or may not be taking a long nap in an undisclosed location.

We're happy to have our family back together to enjoy spring for the next little while!
